Terms of Service
Last updated 6 October 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Milra apps and website provided by [Company name, placeholder] ("Milra", "we"). By creating an account or using Milra you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Milra.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian to agree on your behalf. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3. The service
Milra provides dictation, a lecture and meeting notetaker, AI summaries and reminders, device sync and an AI assistant connector. Speech recognition runs on your device. Some features, such as text cleanup, summaries and low-confidence checks, use our cloud service. Features may change as the product develops.
4. Plans and billing
The free plan includes 8,000 words per month. Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown before you pay. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires, payments are not refundable. We may change prices with notice before your next billing period.
5. Your content
You own your recordings, transcripts and notes. You give us a limited licence to process and store them solely to run the service for you, including syncing and running the AI features you request. We do not use your content to train AI models.
6. Recording consent
You are solely responsible for complying with laws on recording and transcribing conversations. Tell the people you record and get consent where required, for example in classrooms, workplaces and phone calls. Do not use Milra to record people unlawfully.
7. Acceptable use
- No unlawful, harassing or infringing content.
- No attempts to break, probe or overload the service, or to bypass plan limits.
- No reverse engineering except where the law permits it.
- No sharing of your AI connector link with people you do not trust.
8. AI output
Transcripts, summaries and reminders are generated automatically and can be wrong or incomplete, especially with unclear audio. Check anything important before relying on it. Do not use Milra as the only record for medical, legal or safety-critical decisions.
9. Third-party services
Milra works with Clerk, Stripe, Cloudflare, Convex and, if you choose, Claude, ChatGPT, PostHog and Sentry. Their own terms apply to their services.
10. Termination
You may stop using Milra and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms or to protect the service. Sections that by nature should survive will survive termination.
11. Disclaimers
Milra is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or 100 USD if you paid nothing. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version and update the date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
